Tucked away and nestled in the rolling hillsides of Roseburg, Oregon is the 2010 Small Winery of the Year. Reustle - Prayer Rock Vineyards is situated a mile in from the North Umpqua River, off a gravel road lined by Douglas Firs, and down a simple slope with stately views of vines, forestry, and imaginarium. Their wines are 100% Estate Grown and Produced on 40 acres of hillside vineyards,

Within the winery, guests receive a brief tour as they pass through a dimly-lit hallway of oak barrels in the underground Wine Cave and Tasting Room. Constructed by local builders and artisans in 2008, it is reminiscent to those who have visited the French Wine Caves of old. The experience culminates in a sit-down wine tasting and appetizer pairing with a Wine Educator, either in the Grand Hall or one of the three Catacomb Tasting Rooms. And, every so often, in the middle of a tasting, one may be surprised with a visit from the Winemaker himself, and a sampling directly from the barrel or stainless steel tanks.
